International Shipping: What To REASONABLY Expect & Why

Hi There & Welcome To Mostly All You Need To Respectfully Know About International Shipping & Processing When Buying On eBay Or Any Other eCommerce Site Or Store.

1st. Thing: EVERYTHING HAS A TIME & DATE STAMP ON IT.

* eBay Sends The eSeller An eMail Notification That A Sale Has Been Made.

** PayPal Sends An eMail That An ePayment Has Been Made.

*** When the eSeller Prints Out The Shipping Label?? YUP!
An eMail With A Time/Date Stamp On It Is Generated.

**** When The Shipping Service Receives The Parcel Into Their System??
Yet ANOTHER Time & Date Stamp Is Recorded.

REMEMBER: EVERYTHING HAS A TIME & DATE STAMP ON IT.

USPS Tracking#'s Are Usually Automatically Up-Loaded Into Your Purchase Transaction Detail.

Steps #1) - #4). On Finding/Locating Your Tracking Info In Your eBay Purchase Transaction Detail:

Rule #1: eBay Sellers are NOT The Variously Indicated & Available "Shipping Services" That eBay Corp. Provides &/or Endorses..

Rule #2: eBay Sellers Simply Honour The eBuyers Selection & Paid-For CHOICE Of Shipping Service Level & Shipping Service....

eBay Sellers Do NOT Make An eBuyer Select Nor Choose A Certain Shipping Service Or Level of Shipping Service.

An eBuyer Selects The Shipping Service AND Pays For The Shipping Fee, eSellers Print Out The Shipping Labels & Affix Them To The Order.

eBay eSellers Then Simply Drop the Parcel off With The Indicated Shipping-Service.

That's It

****YOU THE BUYER HAVE MANY CHOICES & PRICES TO SELECT FROM FROM THE EBAY PROVIDED DROP-DOWN MENU****

Choose Wisely & Be Prepared To Blame The Right People For Whatever Snafu's Happen.

eBay's Policy On Who To Contact If/When You Have A Question or Concern About Shipping:

USPS Is By Far The LOWEST-COST Cheapest Shipping Service But There Is A Reason & There Is A "Cost" On Processing Times To Be Respectfully Acknowledged.

USPS Doesn't Deliver Parcels In Other Country's....It Is After-All, United States Postal Service (USPS). They Do NOT Operate in Other Country's.

When They Get A Parcel Handed To Them?? They Get It Over To The Country It's Supposed To Go To & Then?? USPS Hands It OVER To YOUR Country's Customs Bureau.

YOUR COUNTRY'S Customs Bureau Has THEIR OWN SCHEDULE.
Usually? Customs Bureaus Will Process HUGE Containers Of Parcels For Inspection.
Then? Your Country's Customs-Bureau Will Release HUGE-Batches of Those Parcels
En Masse To YOUR COUNTRY'S POSTAL Services.
THEN?
YOUR COUNTRY's Postal Services Then has To Re-sort & Re-Distribute Those Parcels To The Various Districts & Finally The Local Postal Service Office.

Then? Your Country's Customs Bureau Gets A Report Back From YOUR COUNTRY's Postal Service Indicating That The Parcel Has Been Delivered.

That "REPORT" Is Generated & The Submitted & Gets Back To USPS In A Few Weeks AFTER Delivery Of The Buyers Parcel Is Made (When No-One Really Cares About It).

THIS ENTIRE PROCESS TAKES A LOT OF TIME BECAUSE THE PROCESS INVOLVES A LOT OF DIFFERENT ORGANISATIONS.

IT IS YOUR COUNTRY's Postal Services That actually Deliver Your Parcel & Order To You.

1). International shipping Takes 15-25 BUSINESS/WORKING days (NOT "Total Days").
2). The ONLY Time period an eBay Seller is responsible for as to "Shipping" is the initial time-period where we process & hand off the Buyers Parcel to Shipping services the BUYER Selected & Paid for.

Once the parcel is handed over to a shipping service the ability for an eBay seller to "Manage" or be responsible for it is literally Out Of eSellers Hands To Manage Or Answer For!!.

eSellers Are Unable To Affect, Manage Or Account For Where It Is Or Why It's Not Been Delivered Yet Once An eBuyers Parcel Has Been Turned Over To Shipping-Services.

3). Your parcel goes through USA Customs Bureau's, USPS, Your Country's Customs Bureau & Then Over To Your Country's Postal Service Who Personally & Finally Delivers It To You.

All those Organisations are not part of USPS.
Each have their OWN Time Schedules & Policies Unlike FedEx, DHL, or UPS.

"TRACKING" Is Also Not Updated Unless & Until Your Parcel Is Delivered To You By YOUR Country's Postal Service.

4). VAT's (Value Added Taxes) Customs-Fees & Assessments Are NOT Controlled, Collected, Nor Inflicted Upon eBuyers Parcels By The eSeller, eBay, Nor The Shipping Services.

We cannot control all that however what we can control?:

We do process orders the very same day it's ordered & Drop Parcels off with USPS Same day too!!.

Circumstances Such As YOUR Country's Customs Bureau Processing Times & Policies, Weather-Related Issues, Postal Union Strikes, National or Religious Holidays, National Social Turbulance or Upheavals & All Other Sorts Of "Issues" are NOT the eSellers Fault.

Thanks for the Kind Considerations, Understandings & Hopefully?
Your Courtesy On NOT Blaming The eSeller For Shipping Issues!.
